A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Bob Norwood led the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 to a win over the Kansas City (DSL) Royals, 6-4. The win for the Mets 1 raised their record to 19-10.

New York N (DSL) took a 6-4 lead on Leo Pollard's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Pollard hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Kansas City (DSL) pitcher Daryl Johnson visibly frustrated.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Norwood told the New York N (DSL) Daily News.
