The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 withstood an impressive performance by Boston (DSL) third baseman Raúl Diharce to defeat the Red Sox, 6-5, at New York Mets Complex. Diharce was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the victory, the Mets 1 upped their record to 17-8.

New York N (DSL) won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Jonathan Cook on the mound for Boston (DSL), left fielder Dan Cartwright hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mets 1 fans to their feet.
