Athletics Keep Losing, Drop 8-2 Contest to Minnesota (DSL)
The 2023 season is getting uglier for Oakland (DSL).

The Minnesota (DSL) Twins knocked off the Oakland (DSL) Athletics, 8-2, at Baseball City Complex. Ron Walker was a big reason Minnesota (DSL) won. The second baseman went 4 for 4 with 4 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Bilgin Cebesoy picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 12. On the season, he is now 1-2. Albert Colón earned the save, his 1st, for the Twins.

With no one out in the bottom of the seventh, Dan Mason barreled up a curveball from Sal Williams. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Twins in front, 8-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Walker told the Minnesota (DSL) Herald. "It's as simple as that."
