The Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jerry Pagán into a win. Instead, the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 prevailed, 6-5. Pagán threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The win for the Mets 1 raised their record to 16-7.

Steve Parkinson was the walk-off hero for New York N (DSL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets 1 shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
