The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 defeated the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays, 14-5. Second Baseman Steve Parkinson deserved a large share of the credit. Parkinson was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Mets 1. Augusto Sáenz sewed up the save, his 1st. New York N (DSL) is now 14-7. Toronto (DSL) is 10-11.

Jake McFadden drove in one run for New York N (DSL). The 20-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Héctor Rodríguez. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said New York N (DSL) manager Prince Fielder.
