Astros Orange Topple Twins, 9-4, as Thistle Shines
With left fielder Byron Thistle leading the charge, the Houston 2 (DSL) Astros Orange defeated the Minnesota (DSL) Twins, 9-4, at Baseball City Complex. Thistle went 4-5 with a home run and 3 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 6. The winner was Jorge Martínez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Bilgin Cebesoy took the loss. At 9-11, the Astros Orange are currently 4th in the San Pedro de Macoris Division.

Thistle came through for the Astros Orange in the top of the first inning. With Houston 2 (DSL) leading 1-0, the left fielder hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 2-0, Houston 2 (DSL).
