Twins Get Dramatic 7-6 Win
Minnesota (DSL) Twins starter César Segura was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Houston 2 (DSL) Astros Orange, 7-6. Juan Domínguez, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The win gives Minnesota (DSL) a season record of 12-6.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 13th, Luis Espinoza had a chance to be the hero. Houston 2 (DSL) pitcher Luis Juárez had other ideas. But with two outs, Espinoza hit a run-scoring single. The Twins had themselves a dramatic win.

"Was I getting worried?" said Twins manager Tony Thomas. "Nope." Then he added, with a wink, "There was never a doubt in my mind."
