Mets 2 Get 7-3 Win Versus St. Louis (DSL)
The New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 picked up a win at New York Mets Complex, taking down the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals, 7-3. Starting pitcher Loren Holmes was a big reason why. New York N 2 (DSL) leads the Boca Chica North Division by 4 games.

The Mets 2 got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Rob Simons. For the game, Simons went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave New York N 2 (DSL) a 5-3 lead.
