The Minnesota (DSL) Twins trumped the New York N (DSL) Mets 1, 3-0, at New York Mets Complex. Minnesota (DSL) second baseman Manny Ramírez was terrific. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. The win went to Luis Muñóz in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Esteban García took the loss. The win for the Twins lifted their record to 9-7.

Ramírez had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth to put Minnesota (DSL) in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off New York N (DSL) pitcher José González.
