Cincinnati (DSL) right fielder Ed McCarthy had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the San Francisco (DSL) Giants, 7-6. Cincinnati (DSL) reliever Jerry Brandt picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cisco Hernández shouldered the loss. Cincinnati (DSL) occupies 5th place in the Boca Chica South Division at 7-8.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when center fielder Mike Thomas hit a run-scoring triple. The Rojos went on to win.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," McCarthy told the Cincinnati (DSL) Chronicle.
