The rain came, as predicted, but the Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 and New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2 were able to complete their ballgame.

Led by Dave Wolfe, the Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 downed the New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2, 10-9. Wolfe went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Orioles 1. Tynan Brown earned the save for Baltimore (DSL), his 2nd of the year.

Héctor Cordero had a big 2-run double for the Orioles 1 in the top of the first inning. With Baltimore (DSL) leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Ernesto Martínez and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Orioles 1 ahead, 3-0.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Wolfe, "this wasn't it."

The win gives Baltimore (DSL) a season record of 9-8.
