Astros Blue Lose By a Run at Baltimore (DSL)
The Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 2 topped the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue, 3-2, in Dominican Rookie League action at Baseball City Complex. The game was highlighted by the performance of Baltimore (DSL) pitcher Mike Holloway. Don Jones, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. Houston 1 (DSL), with the loss, is 4-7.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Orioles 2 had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when shortstop Dave Morris hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Ludovico Morbey and made the score 2-0, Orioles 2. Morris was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk.

"We busted our tails," said Houston 1 (DSL) manager Ryan Christenson. "But we came up short."
