Rallying Reds Get 2-1 Win
Wet weather did not postpone the Cincinnati (DSL)-Milwaukee (DSL) ballgame.

Milwaukee (DSL) pitcher Bobby Webb gave the Reds all they could handle, but in the end, Cincinnati (DSL) left Milwaukee Brewers Complex with a win, 2-1. Webb allowed no runs on 4 hits over 5 innings. Cincinnati (DSL) reliever Orlando Salinas was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Virgil Ramírez took the loss. Juan Jose Deleón saved it for Cincinnati (DSL).

Cincinnati (DSL) used the timely hitting of Cliff Mosley to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Reds on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Cincinnati (DSL) manager Ryan Verdugo.

Milwaukee (DSL) now has a record of 4-4.
