The New York A 2 (DSL) Yankees 2 got a superb performance from pitcher Omar Padua. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Milwaukee (DSL). The Brewers won the game, 8-5. Padua threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Tony Méndez notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. Picking up the save was Juan Figueroa, his 1st.

Milwaukee (DSL) used the timely hitting of Jorge Díaz to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers on top, 8-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Díaz told the Milwaukee (DSL) Chronicle.

The Brewers, now 4-2, have been playing some good baseball.
