Nationals Come Up Short at Minnesota (DSL), 4-3
Minnesota (DSL) starter Garry Gilmer had a strong outing against the Washington (DSL) Nationals at Baseball City Complex. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The Twins, now 4-1, have been playing some good baseball.

The Nationals had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Twins going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old center fielder Raúl Molina came to the plate. Molina hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 slider from Washington (DSL) hurler Mike Roberts. It was Molina's 2nd double of the year.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Minnesota (DSL) manager Tony Thomas.
