Brewers Get 7-4 Win Versus DSL
The home crowd had a good time watching the DSL Mets and DSL Brewers get after it.

The DSL Brewers saddled the DSL Mets with a loss at Milwaukee Brewers Complex. The final score was 7-4. Jesús Jiménez was 2 for 3, including 1 single and 1 home run. The DSL left fielder scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Alfredo Rea was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was Jim Atkins. Juan Benavides nailed down his 1st save.

Ernesto Pérez had a big 2-run double for the Brewers in the bottom of the first inning. With DSL leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Jim Atkins and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brewers ahead, 3-0.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Pérez told the DSL Chronicle.
