Cubs Get Clonked by Mariners, 11-8
Hugh Porter had a good game, but he could not keep the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs from falling, 11-8, to the Seattle (AZL) Mariners at Cubs Park. The Chicago N (AZL) shortstop went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once in the loss. Seattle (AZL) reliever Loren Innis picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kurt Kilminster absorbed the loss. The victory gives the Mariners a record of 28-27.
