Baseball City Complex was the site of the home opener for the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox. The contest featured a prime matchup between Ludovico Morbey of the visiting Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue and Obiniana Vega of the White Sox. The final score was 4-2, the Astros Blue getting the win. Obiniana Vega turned in the best performance.

The Astros Blue got a big at-bat from shortstop Kevin Hickman. For the game, Hickman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Houston 1 (DSL) a 3-1 lead.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Hickman.
