Wahl Homers Twice in 9-1 Win
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats thumped the Trenton Thunder, 9-1, at Arm & Hammer Park. Max Wahl was a big reason his team got the win. Wahl hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Williams Mendoza. He tossed 107 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 9 hits. Trenton now has a record of 13-9.

With New Hampshire leading 4-1 in the top of the ninth, Wahl hit a curveball from Jorge Benítez for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Fisher Cats ahead, 8-1.

"You just play the game as right as you can and see where you end up," said Fisher Cats manager Mark Budzinski.
