Walk-Off Win Makes Texas (AZL) 35-17
Cincinnati (AZL) got a terrific game from center fielder Dave Burks. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Texas (AZL), 8-7. Burks slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Texas (AZL) reliever Sean Thompson was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Joe Hill. Texas (AZL) has an impressive 35-17 record.

Joe Bass was the walk-off hero for Texas (AZL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rangers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Bass said.
