Arizona (AZL) Gets 8-3 Win Against Cubs
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs and Arizona (AZL) Diamondbacks get after it.
Jeff Harris helped his team muscle past the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs, 8-3. In the game, the Arizona (AZL) right fielder was 2-3 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Jake Lewis picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-0. Jared McMahon was tagged with the loss.
Harris made an early impact for Arizona (AZL) when he stroked his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Diamondbacks on top, 4-2.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Harris told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
