Athletics Earn 3-2 Home Win

Due in large part to catcher Jon Mobley, the Oakland (AZL) Athletics sunk the Los Angeles A (AZL) Angels, 3-2. Mobley went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Earning his 6th save for Oakland (AZL) was Johnathan Lamere. The win makes Oakland (AZL) 24-18.
Mobley had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-1 fastball from Cal Fleming, he banged a 2-run triple to left-center, giving the Athletics a 3-1 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for Mobley.
"I like what I saw today," said Oakland (AZL) manager Shawn Denton, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
