Reds Make It 8 in a Row with 5-2 Win
The winning streak continued for Cincinnati (AZL).

The Cincinnati (AZL) Reds dealt the Kansas City (AZL) Royals a 5-2 loss at Surprise Stadium. Phil Baker was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. Don Dean was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Baker hit a solo home run off Steve Parker. It propelled the Reds into the lead, 2-1.

In postgame remarks, Reds manager Mark Lamm praised his team for their performance during their current winning streak. "Let the good times roll," he said.
