The Chicago N (AZL) Cubs beat the Los Angeles A (AZL) Angels, 6-4. Chicago N (AZL) pitcher and Douglas, Wyoming, native Jared McMahon led the way. McMahon picked up the win for Chicago N (AZL), going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-3. Earning his 1st save of the year was Jeremy Clark.

Rob Wade had a big 3-run home run for the Cubs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Chicago N (AZL) leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Brad Brown and swatted a home run to left-center.
