Sweeney Cracks 5 Hits
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Lou Sweeney of the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 12-7 win over the Seattle (AZL) Mariners at Ed Smith Stadium.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 19-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

Lou Sweeney singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
