The Texas (AZL) Rangers used an offensive barrage to beat the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds, 12-1, at Surprise Stadium. António Rosa led the way, going 3-for-4 for Texas (AZL). Yunus Jalaloglu, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 9 innings. Texas (AZL), now 4-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

In the bottom of the fourth, Jerry Burgess delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Texas (AZL) center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Rangers in front, 12-1.

"The Rangers definitely had our number," said Cincinnati (AZL) manager Dennis Pelfrey.
