Sale Leads Cincinnati Past Chicago
In a low-scoring contest between the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago Cubs, Chris Sale, who finished 4th in the AL in ERA with 3.05 in 2015, proved to be the difference. The Cincinnati left-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Reds win. Dave Parsons closed it out for his 13th save. Cincinnati is now 20-18. Chicago is 15-23.

The Cubs had few good swings against Sale, the left-hander, who threw 100 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 5 hits.

"Chris can pitch. He moves the ball around," said Cincinnati manager Kevin Cash.
