The Tri-City ValleyCats got a good effort from starter Regis Barbiusa in defeating the Hudson Valley Renegades at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Getting the save was Robby Clark, his 5th. The ValleyCats sit in last place in the Stedler Division with a record of 12-20.

Jim Rivers had a nice at-bat for the ValleyCats with two out in the bottom of the third. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the shortstop hit a 2-run double, which would prove important in the Tri-City win.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Barbiusa.
