Legends Lose By a Run at Asheville
Pete Mason had a strong outing for the Asheville Tourists against the Lexington Legends at McCormick Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Mason yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-6. Arturo Pereira recorded the save, making him 1 for 1.

Tim McIlwhom came through for Asheville with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 1 RBI.
