Drive Win at Augusta, 3-0

Rob Schroeder could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Augusta GreenJackets lost, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Greenville Drive at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Kevin MacMonies, credited with the save, is now 10 for 12 in save opportunities. The victory makes Greenville 20-57.
Greenville relied on the bat of Walt Spears to get the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Drive ahead, 1-0. For the game, Spears had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
Spears attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
