The Lakewood BlueClaws stifled the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 7-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. Brad Penn, who is tied for 7th in the SAL in triples with 4, had his hitting cap on. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Lakewood. Lakewood has now won 4 in a row.
Early in the game, Penn had a 3-run home run for Lakewood. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the BlueClaws on top, 3-0.
