RiverDogs Rally to Tally 5-3 Win
The Charleston RiverDogs faced a tough opponent in Savannah pitcher Dominic Roy, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Grayson Stadium by a final score of 5-3. Roy went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Luis Campos snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 1.1 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Oscar Cameron closed the game out for Charleston, earning his 13th save.

Charleston used the timely hitting of Eric Robison to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the RiverDogs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Robison. "It sure beats the alternative."

Yes, it was a win for Charleston; but their 21-51 mark is nothing to crow about.
