The Lexington Legends and Augusta GreenJackets provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Augusta GreenJackets powered past the Lexington Legends, 8-7, at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Jeff Miller provided some of the pop. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. Alan Melvey, now 4-3, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 0 and walking 0. Pete Bryan finished the game for Augusta and earned his 16th save.

Miller had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run double. The GreenJackets went on to win.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Miller said.
