Banks Terrific in 13-3 Kannapolis Triumph
The Kannapolis Intimidators picked up a win at Appalachian Power Park, taking down the West Virginia Power, 13-3. Starting pitcher Eric Banks was a big reason why. Kannapolis is now 39-27, while West Virginia is 30-36.

Banks pitched a complete game for Kannapolis. The 24-year-old right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 10 during his 124-pitch performance.

"Eric's as tough as he is talented," said Kannapolis manager Osamu Hamanaka.
