Juárez Helps Tourists Defeat RiverDogs, 7-3
The Asheville Tourists took on the Charleston RiverDogs at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

Behind a fine performance from José Juárez, the Asheville Tourists knocked off the Charleston RiverDogs, 7-3. Juárez went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Tourists. Ron Scott recorded the save for Asheville, his 3rd of the season.

Asheville used the hitting of Reginald Estes to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Tourists on top, 4-2. For the game, Estes had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Estes said in reaction to the win.

The win elevated the Tourists to 27-25.
