A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Greenville Drive and Hagerstown Suns.

Greenville designated hitter Steve Green was instrumental in helping the Drive triumph, 7-5, over the Hagerstown Suns. Green was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Robby Graves picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-3. He struck out 7 in 6.2 innings.

Greenville took a 4-0 lead on Green's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jorge Cruz in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Greenville to the win.

Green told the Greenville Citizen: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."

With the win, Greenville upped its record to 17-16.
