Jim Peterson, who is tied for 5th in the SAL in doubles with 9, helped out the Lakewood cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter drew 2 walks in 5 trips to the plate.

Blair said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
