Hagerstown right fielder Joe Browne had a good game, even if his team did not. The Suns dropped a 7-6 decision to Lakewood at Municipal Stadium. Browne went 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Mauro Dávila picked up the win in relief for Lakewood, while Beau Brooks took the loss. Jeremy Jackson finished the game for Lakewood and earned his 4th save.

It could have been a different outcome for Lakewood, had it not been for Bobby Russell, the 22-year old third baseman . Russell contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Lakewood up, 7-6.

"I like our mindset right now," said Lakewood manager J.R. House.

The win gives Lakewood a record of 9-8.
