Not everyone stuck through the 27-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Kannapolis parlayed a decent outing from starter Tim Reyes into a solid win over the Hagerstown Suns. The final score was 12-2. The winner was Reyes. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Jimmy Short. Mel Walter earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.
