Getting offensive support from Joe Collins, the Kannapolis Intimidators topped the Hickory Crawdads, 6-3. Collins was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Intimidators. The win gives Kannapolis a record of 7-4.

Collins had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 slider from Joe Howgill, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Intimidators a 2-0 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Collins.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Collins told the Kannapolis Bulletin.
