With 8-5 Win, Captains Improve to 68-60
Lake County shortstop Matilde Fiuza contributed significantly to his team's 8-5 win over the Dayton Dragons. Fiuza went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Captains. Jeremiah Harris came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The victory gives the Captains a record of 68-60.

With Lake County leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Fiuza hit a slider from António Lara for a run-scoring double. It was his 26th double of the season and put the Captains ahead, 3-1.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Fiuza.
