Slide Continues for River Bandits
Getting a good performance from left fielder Ron Ray, the Burlington Bees defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits, 10-4. Ray was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Bees. The losses continue to mount for Quad Cities, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the second. That's when Ray hit a fastball from Ron Green for a run-scoring single, putting Burlington up, 3-2.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Quad Cities manager Takanobu Sato.
