Player of the Week: Detroit's Jackson Monday, September 14th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Dan Jackson of the Detroit Tigers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .478, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week Jackson went 11-for-23, racked up 2 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Detroit shortstop. This year, Jackson is hitting .276 with 21 home runs. |
