Dodgers Heim Smacks 5 Hits Friday, September 11th , 2026 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Jonah Heim, it came around today. The 31-year-old catcher scattered hits all over LoanDepot Park to pace the 7-1 Los Angeles Dodgers victory over the Miami Marlins. Miami skipper John Patterson told reporters in the press room that "Heim deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Heim hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Jonah Heim doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
