Mets Retain RF Hayes Wednesday, July 22nd , 2026 Reports began circulating several days ago that Jim Hayes would re-sign with the Mets, but didn't materialize until today when the club officially confirmed BNN's reports. Details were sketchy, though New York did say Hayes would be with the club 4 years beyond his current deal. So far this year, Hayes has hit .280 with 9 home runs, 50 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
