Trade: Alomar for Bingham Friday, July 17th , 2026 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Seattle and Washington confirmed an agreement. The Mariners dealt 24-year old LHP José Alomar, 31-year old 2B Chris Jarvis, 36-year old LF Michael Choice, and 24-year old minor league RHP Norberto MartÃnez to the Nationals for 28-year old RHP Dominic Bingham and 33-year old 3B Miguel Sano. Washington will retain a portion of Sano's remaining contract. For the year, Alomar has collected 2 saves in 34 relief appearances. He has also notched 65 strikeouts and 22 walks in 57.1 innings while registering a 4.24 ERA and a 5-3 won-lost record. Checking out his season stats to date, Bingham has 29 saves in 43 relief appearances with a 1-6 mark and an ERA of 3.40. Teams are batting .254 against him. |
