Houston, Washington Agree to Swap Friday, July 17th , 2026 The Houston Astros swapped 29-year old RHP Mike Cunningham for 25-year old minor league RHP Clarence Jackson, 25-year old minor league RHP Thom Stevens, and 26-year old minor league LHP Chris Brown of the Nationals after what Washington officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. Houston will retain a portion of Cunningham's remaining contract. To date this year, in 20 starts, Cunningham has crafted a 5-11 mark with a 4.35 ERA. |
