Colorado-Texas Deal: Taylor for Otero Wednesday, July 15th , 2026 28-year old LF Jeff Taylor will now be playing for the Texas Rangers and 23-year old minor league RHP Orlando Otero and 25-year old minor league C Luis Villarea will be suiting up for the Colorado Rockies. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials. Colorado will retain a portion of Taylor's remaining contract. To date, Taylor has collected 94 hits for a .270 average. He has posted 16 home runs, scored 49 runs and driven in 51 runs. Otero's career stats include a 2-12 record, 91 innings, 64 strikeouts, and a 6.82 ERA. |
