More Injury Problems for Kansas City's Hervé Masson Tuesday, May 19th , 2026 Yesterday Kansas City left fielder Hervé Masson sustained a setback in his recovery from a sore knee. The Royals medical staff told him it would be at least one week before he will be able to return to action. Masson told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Masson worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. In 42 games Masson is hitting .323 this season with 51 hits, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs, 19 walks, .391 OBP and has scored 27 runs. |
