Gallegos Too Tough, Blanks Colorado Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 Luis Gallegos kept the Colorado Rockies hitters from doing much damage at PNC Park. Colorado could only muster 4 hits and draw no walks against the left-handed Gallegos, who controlled them throughout the game. Pittsburgh won the contest, 3-0. Gallegos added 8 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Gallegos told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." Up to now Gallegos has compiled an ERA of 4.25 with a 8-11 mark over 26 starts.
